Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q Can I make a block payment before first contacting ShireDrive?
  • A No, if you haven't yet been assigned an instructor, contact ShireDrive and fill in the online enquiry form through the website. If you make a payment before registering with ShirDrive there is no guarantee that we will be able to fit you in and it may be necessary to refund your payment, which can be time consuming.
  • Q Can I select different sizes of block?
  • A Yes select either Block payment or Gift Voucher then use the drop down menu to select the size of block you require.
  • Q How can I send a message to ShireDrive?
  • A Don't use the "Buy now" option, select the "Add to Cart" option then when you click on the cart icon to pay, the message to the merchant secton is available to fill in. - OR - You can use the "Contact Us" link at the foot of every page on this site.
  • Q Should I tell ShireDrive who the payment is for?
  • A Yes, use the "Message for the merchant" section in the Shopping cart section to tell us who the payment is for and who is your instructor.
  • Q I want a gift card, how does this work?
  • A First select the Gift Card product, then select the appropriate size of block (5, 10 15 or 20 hours) then click add to cart (Don't use the "Buy now" option). Go to the shopping cart and use the "Message for the merchant" box to tell us who the card is for and give us a dedication to add to the card. We will then send a pdf file to your email address - you can print this out and fold it as a card for the recipient. There are instructions on the back of the card about how to reclaim the gift.
  • Q Can I buy a single block to share between my twins or siblings?
  • A Yes, if you are buying a block of 10 hours, please select the block of 5 option, (If you are buying more than 10 hours, select the 10 hour block) and then in the quantity box press the + button to select 2. Please remember to let us know in the "Message for the merchant" box, the names of both pupils.
  • Q Can I pay for more than 10 hours?
  • A Yes you can pay for multiple blocks, by selecting the 10 hour block and then using the "Quantity" box to select 2 or more blocks of 10.
